The Ministry Launcher For a Pastoral Counseling Center
The Ministry Launcher for a Christian biblically centered counseling center and a training center is a business in a box, not a course of study. The box contains a large white binder containing step-by-step instructions for chartering or incorporating, setting up business, promotion of your ministry, commencing proper banking, and tax information, along with two video DVDs, a CD-ROM containing twenty forms for counseling centers, plus an audio CD with a one hour presentation on following the guide and making your business choices.
The guidebook contains twelve steps for you to study and to take one step at a time, as you move forward toward your new objective. Through those twelve steps there will be several decisions for you to make. There are options along the way, as you commence your journey into the ministry of guiding people to a fulfilled life experience.

The Ministry Launcher for a Counseling Center is a joint effort between Dr. Rickey A. Nation, director of Abundant Life Christian Counseling Services in Oliver Springs, Tennessee, and Dr. Donald W. Struble, a mentor to ministers and President of the National Conservative Christian Church. We wish to thank the three counselors who were gracious enough to allow a camera to record their interviews for this program. They are Rev. John Riddle, Rev. Tim Stallings and Rev. David Abernathy. We are also blessed to have had Dr. Richard G. Arno, the founder of the National Christian Counselors Association, giving significant contribution and advice. You will see the counselors of three counseling centers, on the two video DVDs.
You will find a CD containing my one-hour audio guide through some important steps and decisions needed to launch your ministry of biblical counseling with a successful beginning. The other disk is a CD-ROM containing 20 forms or schedules useful in the beginning of your counseling practice. Since two authors created this project, the initials of the author who primarily wrote each of the chapters in this guidebook are shown on the last or next to last page of each chapter.
The legal information from the Christian Law Association, found in the Appendix, is used and presented here with permission. We encourage you to call upon them if you ever have a legal challenge, a civil or criminal accusation against you, or need legal advice on a client matter.
